Why FMGE after MBBS in Georgia?

After obtaining a medical degree from any recognized medical institute abroad most students want to practice in India. So they need to register with State Medical Council (SMC).

But to start their medical practice they need to clear the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) conducted by the NBE (National Board of Examination). FMGE is conducted two times a year, that is, in June and December.

The passing percentage in FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) is 50% marks in each of the papers. Every student appearing in FMGE has a maximum of 3 attempts to clear and pass the examination. Most MBBS students find it quite easy to clear FMGE because they remained fully dedicated and sincere in their studies.
